According to the German banking act (KWG) credit institutions, which are engaged in the custody of securities, have to undergo an annual inspection of this engagement. The inspection includes the correctness of transmitting declarations to the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin), the correct exertion of the voting rights as well as the compliance of the obligations according to the German banking law.
